Uganda CAA Preliminary Schedule Published

UGANDA CAA ANNOUNCES PRELIMINARY SCHEDULE FOR RESUMPTION OF PASSENGER FLIGHTS AS OF 01ST OF OCTOBER

(Posted 09th September 2020)

Uganda’s Civil Aviation Authority has published a preliminary schedule, effective 01st of October and running until the end of December this year.
Individual airlines have yet to confirm their resumption date of scheduled passenger flights into and out of Entebbe but it is anticipated that leading carriers will during the course of the week go on record and confirm their planned flight schedules and traffic days.

Uganda is the last major country in East Africa to reopen the international airport as both Rwanda and Kenya relaunched international passenger flights already on the 01st of August, Tanzania already in early July and Ethiopia never closed their airport at all during the pandemic.

ATCNews will monitor airline announcements as to their planned flight schedules to EBB and keep readers updated – also on social media platforms.
