Uganda’s Ministry of Tourism has announced a major roadshow across North America, organized jointly with the Africa Travel Association, to promote both destination as well as the ATA Annual World Congress which takes place in mid-November in Kampala.
The day after the Uganda North America Association annual convention ends in San Diego will a team from Uganda set out to hold roadshow events in Los Angeles on the 02nd of September before moving to Atlanta on the 03rd. Washington DC will be next to welcome the Ugandan juggernaut on the 04th before moving on to New York on the 08th and Toronto on the 10th of September.
Key ministry and tourism board officials will be joined by tourism private sector stakeholders and of course the staff of the Africa Travel Association, hoping to meet key travel agents and tour operators in the cities they visit.
The official carrier for the ATA Congress is Brussels Airlines which is offering special fares from across its network including the two US destinations Washington and New York for flights via Brussels to Entebbe but is also expected to grant special deals for those wishing to fly to the US to attend the roadshow and promote Uganda and their businesses.
