UTB REASSURES VISITORS OF THEIR SAFETY WHEN VISITING UGANDA’S NATIONAL PARKS

Following the successful conclusion of the rescue mission for an abducted American tourist in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park – the incident was reported on ATC News at the time – has the CEO of the Uganda Tourism Board now also issued a final statement, reassuring the general public in and visitors to Uganda, that it is safe to travel to the national parks across the country.
In her statement did Ms. Ajarova also reiterate that no ransom was paid to the kidnappers, who still appear to be at large but who are being pursued by Ugandan security forces.
