#UgandaAirlines’ first Airbus A330-800Neo completes first test flight

AFRICA’S FIRST AIRBUS A330-800NEO TAKES FLIGHT FOR THE FIRST TIME

Delivery of Uganda Airlines’ first Airbus A338Neo – a sistership is expected to join in January 2021 – has come closer as the aircraft took to the skies over Toulouse yesterday for the first time.
After conducting engine and ground taxi tests over the past few days was the aircraft cleared to take flight for the first of several test flights, before the final outfitting will be completed and the aircraft prepared for the delivery ceremony.

The 258 seat aircraft is configured in a three class cabin layout, offering guests a state of the art business class section, a separate premium economy class section and the classic economy class with the latest ergonomic seat design developed to give passengers greater comfort in flight.

Delivery to a Ugandan delegation is expected to take place in the first half of December and ATCNews will as usual provide updates for readers when the dates have been confirmed.
