#UgandaAirlines increases Nairobi flights to two a day

UGANDA AIRLINES NOW SERVES NAIROBI TWICE A DAY AGAIN

(Posted 10th November 2020)

Following the resumption of flights by Uganda Airlines, after the country reopened the international airport in Entebbe on the 01st of October, which included a daily service to the Kenyan capital of Nairobi, has the airline now announced a second daily flight.

After restoring the pre-pandemic network, which includes Juba, Mogadishu, Bujumbura, Dar es Salaam, Kilimanjaro and Mombasa is the airline now taking aim at returning to more frequencies as travel across Eastern Africa begins to take hold again. Notably does Uganda Airlines offer travelers two pieces of checked baggage, for Economy Class passengers of 23 KG’s each and for Business Class passengers of 32 KG’s each.

Nairobi has been a key route for Uganda Airlines before the pandemic forced a regional lockdown and ATCNews was able to showcase for travelers from Uganda to Nairobi the wide range of options where to stay while in the Kenyan capital.

Kenya is also a key target market for selling the upcoming long haul destinations of London, Dubai and China, which are due to be launched in early Q1 next year, after the airline has taken delivery of two brand new Airbus A330-800Neo aircraft. Additional connection options via Entebbe will be flights to Johannesburg, Kinshasa and Lusaka the airline intends to launch soon as well as to all other regional destinations.
