ZANZIBAR TO BECOME UGANDA AIRLINES NEXT DESTINATION
(Posted 07th December 2019)
Uganda Airlines (www.ugandairlines.com) has announced the launch of flights from Entebbe to Zanzibar, adding yet another key destination in East Africa.
The airline already flies from Entebbe to Nairobi, Mombasa, Juba, Bujumbura, Dar es Salaam, Kilimanjaro and Mogadishu with ZNZ becoming the carrier’s 9th destination.
The flight UR320/1 combines with Dar es Salaam, which is served daily already out of Entebbe and three weekly flights, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, will as of the 16th of December route on to Zanzibar before then returning to Entebbe nonstop.
The new service further opens up the Swahili coast for leisure, but also business travelers from Uganda, after the launch of Mombasa a month ago.
Zanzibar has in recent years established herself as a premier 5-star destination with a number of internationally branded resorts operating across the so called ‘Spice Island‘ but also offers affordable smaller hotels suitable for family vacations on a budget.
Guided tours through ‘Stone Town‘ and visits to spice farms and the slave caves are just some of the activities which visitors can enjoy while on the island.
Happy Landings to the new flight, to aircraft, crews and passengers, always!
