UGANDA PUTS #COVID19 STATUTE ON THE BOOKS

Uganda has put a new statute into place, dealing exclusively with #COVID19 and outlining measures taken, powers provided to designated officials and also the sanction regime, should individuals break protocol like escaping from quarantine locations.

Meanwhile has President Museveni finally imposed a domestic travel ban for common passenger transport, aka Matatus or in Uganda as Taxis, overland and urban buses and the use of motorcycle transport of passengers.
