(Posted 13th September 2014)

Confirmation was received yesterday that the October 13th – 15th joint conference between the United Nations World Tourism Organization and the International Civil Aviation Organization, which was to bring the world’s transport and tourism ministers together in a ground breaking meeting, has been postponed until April next year.

The new dates were given as April 22nd to 24th and this shift will allow delegates and organizers to stay on for a few days and enjoy the Carnival International de Victoria. With an expected 100+ journalists and media organizations from around the world coming to the Seychelles for the Carnival, they will be able to also extensively cover the UNWTO / ICAO Summit, giving the agenda wider exposure and very likely help to promote the new found spirit of the aviation and tourism sectors working hand in hand at the highest levels.
