Since the last edition, we’ve celebrated the brightest new ideas for making tourism a driver of development across the Americas. And we joined other thought leaders to discuss tourism’s place in the 2030 Agenda at the Aid for Trade Conference.
In other news, responsible tourism is helping protect elephants in Mozambique, while UNWTO enjoyed a successful visit to Ireland and welcomed the G20’s comments in support of the tourism sector.
Finally, as UNWTO gears up for its 23rd General Assembly in St Petersburg, 38 new Affiliate Members are set to join our growing network of global partners.
