Welcome to the latest edition of the UNWTO newsletter!
Since the last edition, the Executive Council of UNWTO has met in Baku to reflect on past achievements and plan for the future. Member States also warmly welcomed a high-level delegation from the United States.
We wish to once again thank Azerbaijan for the warm hospitality and excellent organization!
In other news, our research has found urban residents continue to feel positively towards tourists, and UNWTO has launched a new Tourism Start-Up competition in partnership with the Barça Innovation Hub.
Lastly: there’s still time to apply for Accessible Tourism Destination (ATD) recognition with UNWTO and the ONCE Foundation.
