Internationally acclaimed film, television and stage actor Afemo Omilami is set to serve as Master of Ceremony for the African Diaspora World Tourism Awards gala event taking place April 16, 2016 in Atlanta, Georgia (USA) Omilami has been in show business for almost 35 years and is perhaps best remembered as the drill sergeant in Forrest Gump. With roles in other legendary films such as The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, Drumline, The Blind Side, Remember the Titans and Ray, his latest projects is the HBO hit series True Detective 2, where Omilami plays the leading African-American character opposite other industry greats
