Further to the information provided in the article below it is now confirmed that Uganda Communications Commission has directed all ISP’s to switch off access to internet services as of today, 13th January 2026 at 18.00 hrs / 6 p.m. local time.

The ATCNews team in Uganda will therefore not be able to post any articles, receive or send emails ot communication in any shape or form via social and professional media platforms.
This is much regretted but ATCNews will comply with this order and return ‘on air’ once services have been restored.
