The Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) has officially assumed full control of the country’s canine detection units in Entebbe and Karuma, securing the future of one of Africa’s most effective anti-trafficking tools. This transition, made possible through nine years of collaboration with the African Wildlife Foundation (AWF) under the Canines for Conservation Program.
