SEYCHELLES ATTEND COMOROS TOURISM EVENT

The just ended Indian Ocean Food and Culture Festival, held on the Comoros as part of the Vanilla Island organization’s annual calendar of events, saw the Seychelles represented by the Principal Secretary for Tourism Ms. Anne Lafortune.
She used the opportunity to invite the Comoros Vice President to visit the Seychelles for the next edition of the annual Festival Kreol, which is due to take place from the 23rd to the 26th of October.
H.E. Mr. Djaffar Ahmed Said Hassani will according to reports received from Victoria, Seychelles’ capital city, also hold bilateral talks with various Seychelles’ government officials focusing on the Economy, Planning, Industry, Energy, Handicrafts, Investments, Private Sector and Land Affairs.
It is also expected that both island nations will on that occasion sign an MoU of future tourism cooperation both bilateral and under the auspices of the Vanilla Island organization of which both are founder members.
