| The Vanilla Islands are an affiliation that promote the islands of the Indian Ocean.
Toward that end, events are organised around promising themes, such as golf, and
inter-island tourism packages have been offered for the last 3 years. They entice golfers to spend their holidays on multiple islands and practice their favourite sport.
To spice up the game, a good-natured competition is held during their trip: the ‘Vanilla Islands Pro-Am Tours‘.
The tournament invites teams of 4 players (3 amateurs and 1 professional) to share their passion for golf.
Building on the success of its first two editions, this major, end-of-year golf event is returning to Réunion and Mauritius. The Golf de Bourbon and Golf du Bassin Bleu clubs on Réunion and the Anahita Golf & Spa Resort and Île aux Cerfs Golf Club on Mauritius will host the challenges.
It will be a unique opportunity for the teams to glean precious tips from their pros to better understand the courses.
There will be 18 teams from France participating in the pro-am starting on Wednesday, 12 December; they will play compete for three days on Réunion, followed by three days on Mauritius. They will also enjoy sightseeing activities for a one-of-a-kind experience that combines a sport challenge with a holiday in the sun.
