| The 4th edition of Africa Tourism Leadership Forum & Awards (ATLF) will convene in Rwanda from 24 to 27 November 2021. This years’ hybrid event will incorporate Rwanda Travel Week with strict enforcement of Covid-19 protocols. To be held in collaboration with Rwanda Development Board, Rwanda Convention Bureau, Rwanda Chamber of Tourism, Mastercard Foundation, and BDO South Africa, ATLF 2021 is themed, “Harnessing intra-Africa travel for innovative recovery in Africa’s travel and tourism sector”.Register here |

| Meetings Africa and Africa’s Travel Indaba to return in 2022 |

| After the cancellation of two signature global trade shows due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the South African Tourism has announced the return of both Meetings Africa and Africa’s Travel Indaba. | Paradise Sun Hotel receives Seychelles Sustainable Tourism Label certification |

| The Paradise Sun Hotel on Praslin Island is the newest recipient of the Seychelles Sustainable Tourism Label (SSTL), joining the cohort of 21 adherents of the eco-friendly movement, while two other tourism accommodation establishments renewed their certification to the scheme. Read more here |

Before the pandemic, Africa was one of the fastest-growing tourism regions in the world. | The Rwanda Chamber of Tourism today announced the forthcoming launch of the inaugural Rwanda Tourism Week.The event, scheduled to take place from 24 – 26th November at the Kigali Serena Hotel, carries the theme “Rebuilding Tourism for Sustainable Growth” and aims to boost the confidence and morale in the tourism sector that had suffered an unprecedented blow since the COVID 19 pandemic hit in March 2020. | Pan African airlines ASKY has announced changes to its inflight entertainment service effective November 6, 2021. In a statement, the lome based airline said, it has introduced a range of engaging features and a content catalogue consisting of Hollywood movies, popular TV shows, local African programs/documentaries, drama, music, and games onboard all ASKY aircraft.
