West Africa is a region with a diverse natural and cultural heritage and has great potential for ecotourism development. However, many stakeholders lack the knowledge and understanding of the concept of ecotourism and how to implement it effectively.
The aim of this webinar is to provide participants with an introduction to ecotourism and its potential for sustainable tourism development in West Africa. The webinar will highlight the principles of ecotourism, its benefits, and challenges and provide practical examples of successful ecotourism projects in the region.
