What An Incredible 2015 Wolfgang

The SafeMotos team would like to take a moment to look back at an incredible first year.

With your help we’ve:

-Performed 3,672 trips with 42 drivers, logging 271,960 kilometers of telematic data. The drivers are now awesome.

–Won the Founders Award and Utilities Award at PIVOT East, the first time a Rwandan team has won. We also were included as one of Nominet Trust’s most inspiring projects using digital technology for social good.

-Peter has built the most advanced, beautiful and frankly cool app ever to be produced in Rwanda. The bar has been raised.

-Took part in the Carma AXLR8R, which led to SOSv being our lead investor. We were also chosen to be Entrepreneur’s in Residence in the Think Incubator.

-We were big in the news with CNBC Africa, Tech Crunch, How We Made It In Africa, The New Times and Inzozi, just to name a few, giving us press.

All of this is nothing for what we are going to do in 2016. Right now, today, the SafeMotos team has never been so confident in the product that we have built through blood, sweat, tears and pingpong. It gives customers delight, and it’s time for us to go big.
