Challenges Faced by Women in Tourism

Pay Disparities: Women often earn less than men for similar roles in the industry.
Limited Leadership Opportunities: Despite their numbers, women are underrepresented in decision-making positions.
Work-Life Balance: Tourism often demands long hours, posing challenges for women with caregiving responsibilities.
Exploitation: In some cases, women face unsafe working conditions, harassment, or exploitation in informal tourism sectors.
