#GEOLODGES ‘OBSERVATORY‘ GETS NEW POOL AND SAUNA

(Posted 18th July 2018)

The Observatory, a unique getaway overlooking the Western arm of the Great African Rift Valley with views to the Rwenzori Mountains, Queen Elizabeth National Park, lakes Edward and George and the Kazinga Channel, will very soon officially launch a new set of facilities for guest.
A sauna and a small pool will add to the location and the very special kind of hospitality guests receive at the lodge. While primarily self catering is it possible for guests to request for a cook to prepare meals and then have dishes washed, leaving visitors to enjoy the small lodge which easily sleeps 6 though another bedroom can be made available. The staff will also be of assistance to procure food, from vegetables to eggs to chicken should guests wish to supplement the supplies they brought along with them.

Visitors can easily undertake day trips into the Queen Elizabeth National Park, visit the chimpanzees at Kyambura Gorge or even reach the gates of the Rwenzori National Park, have lunch at Geolodges’ Equator Snow Lodge and then return to the Observatory – or otherwise of course spend a night at Equator Snow which is nestled under the Portal Peaks of the mountain range.
