AURIC GETS WTA RECOGNITION AS TANZANIA’S LEADING DOMESTIC CARRIER
(Posted 13th April 2016)
Auric Air, Tanzania’s domestic airline with the widest network of scheduled flights across the country, last weekend reaped its award when the World Travel Awards for Africa named the airline as their leading choice in Tanzania.
Operating out of their three bases in Mwanza, Arusha and Dar es Salaam does Auric serve some 30 destinations across Tanzania, most by daily or multiple weekly flights and others by charter and coach services. The annual passenger uplift is now approaching 100.000, speaking volumes about how much in demand the airline’s services are
The airline flies into the Serengeti, almost hourly during daylight to Zanzibar, and soon also to the Selous, linking all key safari destinations with the islands, including Mafia which is more remote and therefore much more exclusive.
The airline operates a fleet of presently twelve Cessna C208B Grand Caravans, all purchased new and has been certified by The Flight Safety Foundation from which it holds BARS Gold Standard rankings.
The oldest aircraft on the fleet was bought new in 2008 and the latest acquisition was in 2015, ensuring that all fleet aircraft are young enough to pass the muster of the most discerning passengers.
Congratulations to AURIC on their first ever WTA award.
