Established in 1993, the World Travel Awards recognize and celebrate excellence across the travel, tourism, and hospitality sectors. A global hallmark of industry distinction, the awards shine a spotlight on outstanding achievements within the industry. Each year, the World Travel Awards host a Grand Tour, a series of regional gala ceremonies that honor excellence across continents, culminating in a Grand Final where winners compete for the ultimate title at the end of the year.
In Africa, the prestigious World Travel Awards Africa Gala Ceremony 2024 took place at the stunning Diamonds Leisure Beach & Golf Resort in Diani Beach, Kenya. This event not only celebrates the broader travel and hospitality industry but also highlights remarkable achievements in the African aviation sector.
