WTA celebrates 30th anniversary
 2023 is an auspicious year for World Travel Awards (WTA) as we mark 30 years of rewarding travel excellence. Since launching in 1993, we have hosted more than 130 VIP receptions everywhere from Dubai and New York to Jamaica and Doha, with the WTA Winner Shield now recognised globally as the ultimate hallmark of travel excellence.
Our 30th anniversary celebrations kick off in style on 26 August, when the paradise island of Saint Lucia will host our Caribbean & The Americas Gala Ceremony 2023.
Voting final countdown!
 Voting for our Caribbean and The Americas categories closes on 9 July, so you still have time to decide which travel brands will be crowned this year’s best of the best. Industry professionals, the media and consumers are eligible to vote.
Meanwhile voting for Asia and Oceania closes on 23 July, with Europe and Middle East categories open till 20 August. So vote now to decide the finest travel brands of 2023!

WTA gears up for Grand Tour 2023
 WTA’s 30th annual Grand Tour promises to be our greatest yet, with a series of gala ceremonies in some of the world’s most exciting tourism destinations. After starting in beautiful Saint Lucia for our Caribbean & The Americas Gala Ceremony, we head to Ho Chi Minh City for our Asia & Oceania Gala Ceremony on 6 September, then the magnificent city of Batumi, Georgia for our Europe Gala Ceremony on 30 September. The rapidly-emerging destination of Batumi has made the headlines in recent years as Europe’s new travel hotspot and tourism investment capital, making this a must-attend event for Europe’s travel elite.
