“Why the African Tourism industry needs film festivals” and “what the film industry does for tourism”, are questions many ask when it comes to Film Tourism as a travel subject. A first in South Africa, the International Tourism Film Festival Africa launched at World Travel Market Africa 2019 in Cape Town, providing a platform for tourism brands and film producers to showcase their incredible work and destinations that they hold so dear. The International Tourism Film Festival – Africa (ITFFA) in co-operation with the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals (CIFFT) will bring the unique film festival to Africa. The ITFFA has partnered with the World Travel Market Africa to host the Tourism Film Conference on 7 April 2020.
