#Zambia splashes big money on UK TV channel

ZAMBIA TOURISM INCREASES VISIBILITY IN THE UK

Zambia’s latest marketing activities in the United Kingdom is making certain that ITV viewers will get a multiple daily dose of insights into one of Africa’s greatest safari destinations.
Starting next Monday, 25th of June, will Zambia will feature in over 80 broadcasts across three of the UK’s biggest daytime TV shows – Good Morning Britain, Lorraine and Loose Women.

With audiences of between one to as many as three million viewers each will this generate massive exposure for the destination including of course the iconic Victoria Falls from where GMB presenter Andi Peters will be broadcasting live via helicopter on the morning of Monday 25th June.
Additional features will include safari game-drives, sunset cruises and other wildlife encounters.

The following viewing schedule has been shared:

Good Morning Britain : Live for 10 mins on 25th plus more films for 10 days
Lorraine : Features for 10 days
Loose Women : Features for 10 days.

Loose Women’s Linda Robinson who is best known for her role in "Birds of a Feather" will be zip-lining some 120 metres above the Zambezi River, one of he adventure activities besides bungee jumping off the bridge over the river – which is also the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Kamageo’s Chief Executive Tim Henshall suggested the programming will absolutely increase traveller interest in Zambia and that in advertising terms Zambia’s value will be in the millions of UK Pounds range.
