EXHIBIT AT ZATEX 2018 IN APRIL NEXT YEAR AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ZAMBIA TOURISM’S GENEROUS INVITATION FOR HOSTED BUYERS

The Zambia Tourism Agency (ZTA) will be hosting the fourth edition of the Zambia Travel Expo (ZATEX), from 12th to the 14th of April 2018 in Lusaka, Zambia.
The main aim of hosting ZATEX is to substantially expand the tourism client base for destination Zambia by not only having quality travel trade and key travel media attend the show but by also arranging for face to face interaction with industry stakeholders and decision makers. The Zambia Travel Expo gives attendees a competitive advantage in the industry because they get to sample the various tourism products that the country has on offer through product familiarisation tours.
Zambia Tourism Agency has been working hand in hand with industry partners to mould ZATEX into the most significant centrally located tourism marketing hub in the Southern African Region where people can be au fait with the latest developments within the Region’s Tourism Industry. It is in this vein, that Zambia Tourism Agency seeks to bring to ZATEX only those buyers and media personnel that will exceed the expectations of the sellers.

ZAMBIA TRAVEL EXPO (ZATEX) 2018
HOSTED BUYERS’ TERMS OF REFERENCE
Please read these Terms of reference carefully and ensure that you understand them before confirmation of participation as a Hosted Buyer during the Zambia Travel Expo 2018 scheduled to take place from 12 – 14 April 2018.
1. INTRODUCTION:
These Terms of reference, govern the agreement between Zambia Tourism Agency, P.O BOX 30017, Petroda House, Great East Road House Lusaka Zambia, and the hosted buyer named on the Application Form.
Any queries pertaining to this should be sent to buyers prior to your confirmation of participation.
2. REGISTRATION AND CONFIRMATION:
To register as a hosted buyer for the Zambia Travel Expo, you must fill out the Online Application on our website http://www.zambiatravelexpo.com/buyerregister.html
2.1 You are responsible for the accuracy of your Application Form, including your contact details and your company profile.
2.2 Submitting an Application Form is NOT a guarantee of actual acceptance by Zambia Tourism Agency to host you as a buyer during ZATEX. ONLY ZTA written confirmation will guarantee your participation as Hosted Buyers for ZATEX 2018.
3. ATTENDANCE AT THE ZAMBIA TRAVEL EXPO EVENT:
3.1 As a Hosted Buyer, you are expected to attend to ALL activities outlined in the ‘Hosted Buyer’s Programme’ except when you opt not to go on to a Familiarisation Tour.
3.2 Hosted buyers WILL NOT be allowed to change Familiarisation Tour Option after confirmation.
3.3 Hosted buyers that select the option not to go for any Familiarisation Tour will need to notify ZTA no later than 01th March 2018.
MISCELLANEOUS:
ZTA will subsidize your international flights into Zambia to a maximum of USD500. The pre-and post-local familiarization tours will be fully sponsored by ZTA, including local transfers/ internal movements, meals and accommodation. Visa cost will be at the expense of the buyer.
3.4 Meals will constitute a full meal with a soft drink and water. Alcohol beverages will not be sponsored by ZTA and those taking alcoholic beverages will have to settle the alcohol bills on their own.
3.5 Laundry will be at owner’s expense and NOT that of ZTA
3.6 Telephone calls bills while at the hotel will be at owner’s expense and NOT that of ZTA.
4. CANCELLATIONS:
Any cancellation to participate as a hosted buyer should be in writing and notification should be given not later than 10th March, 2018. Cancellation after the above stated date will attract a surcharge of USD 150.
4.1 Alternatively, in the event that you are subsequently unable to attend the Event, you may request a colleague from the same organisation to replace you provided that such a substitute is a senior staff within your organisation. Such amendments must be notified to ZTA by or before 25th March, 2018 and sent to buyers
