ESSENTIAL ROLE OF AIR CARGO AFFIRMED AS ZIMBABWE GETS MUCH NEEDED MEDICAL SUPPLIES

Ethiopian Airlines has transported another batch of various medical shipment to Harare, Zimbabwe on its cargo flight which was operated on April 20th.
The 17 ton shipment received from the Jack Ma Foundation and WHO contained various testing kits, masks and other medical supplies urgently needed to fight COVID 19.
Ethiopian Airlines has been continuously engaged in distributing very critical medical supplies to all African countries since the outbreak began in coordination with UN agencies and international humanitarian organizations. Ethiopian Airlines Country Manager in Zimbabwe, Ms. Wogayehu Terefe said to ATCNews: “Ethiopian Airlines has been at the forefront of the fight against COVID19 and is currently transporting live saving shipments for 54 African countries including Zimbabwe where the airline has been providing uninterrupted services through thick and thin.”
