Air Seychelles goes wireless on their new Airbus A330-200

AIR SEYCHELLES LAUNCHES INFLIGHT CONNECTIVITY

The arrival yesterday of an Airbus A330-200, registered as S7-ADB on the local SCAA aircraft registry, also signaled the march into the latest inflight technology, connectivity to the internet.

The airline immediately launched a new marketing campaign to promote the uptake of the new service, which is available at a fee with passwords given after payment by credit card was effected, and aptly named ‘HM Connect’. Available for now only on the Airbus A330-200 named Aldabra will the facility however be expanded to other fleet aircraft in due course. The local registration of the first ever wide body aircraft in the Seychelles follows the registration of the two Airbus A320 the carrier operates while the entire fleet of Twin Otter aircraft has been registered locally for some time.

The available options to sign into the wireless on board are

· Option 1 : 30 minutes including a 20MB cap for 5.95 $

· Option 2 : 1 hour flight including a 50MB cap for 9.95 $

· Option 3 : Full Flight (up to 12 hrs) including a 120MB cap for 21.95 $

· Seychelles – Johannesburg (vv)

· Seychelles – Abu Dhabi* (vv)

· Seychelles – Mauritius* (vv)
