Gamewatchers Safaris & Porini Camps have been voted “Kenya’s Best Safari Camp Brand”

The Africa & Indian Ocean Gala Ceremony of the World Travel Awards was held on Saturday 9th April 2016 and we are glad to announce that we have won “Kenya’s Leading Safari Camp Brand”.

Over the years we have won “Africa’s Leading Tented Safari Camp” on three occasions, and we have now won “Kenya’s Leading Safari Camp Brand” for the third time.

All of us here at Gamewatchers Safaris & Porini Camps would like to take this opportunity to thank you for voting for us and for your ongoing support.

We are so pleased to be receiving acknowledgment and raising awareness of our “Porini Ethos” and our Conservancy Concept whereby we can ensure our guests get the best possible safari experiences whilst also conserving wildlife and sustaining local communities.

African Responsible Tourism Awards
We were also pleased to see that in the recent 2016 African Responsible Tourism Awards two of the conservancies where our camps are located won recognition:

Mara Naboisho Conservancy voted “Overall Winner”

The Mara Naboisho Conservancy has increased lion density and is providing 142 jobs and a regular secure income to 554 local Maasai households as well as further indirect benefits to 10,000 local people.

Guests at our Porini Mara Camp have access to the 55,000 acres of Naboisho Conservancy as well as the 18,700 acres of Ol Kinyei Conservancy.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy wins Gold Award for “Best for Wildlife Conservation in Africa”

The Ol Pejeta Conservancy is East Africa’s largest rhino sanctuary with over 90 black and white rhinos including the last remaining Northern White Rhinos.

Our Porini Rhino Camp is sited in the 90,000 acres of Ol Pejeta Conservancy.

Kenya Visas Now Free of Charge for Children aged up to 16 years

The Government Of Kenya has waived visa fees for all children aged 16 years and below who are accompanying their parents to Kenya.
