The name “Acheche” is a creative blend of the founder’s name, Ann Cheptumo, combining the first alphabet of her first and last name.
Founded in the picturesque coastal city of Malindi, known for its stunning beaches, vibrant culture, and rich history, Acheche Tours drew inspiration from its surroundings. Acheche Tours in Uganda
Acheche Tours and Events Management Uganda was born out of unprecedented circumstances in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Founder Ann, who had initially visited Uganda for a gorilla trekking safari, found herself stranded when borders closed. Instead of leaving, she seized the opportunity to lay roots in the country. After registering the company in 2020, Acheche Tours Uganda fully launched its operations in 2023, focusing on crafting unforgettable Uganda safari experiences and international getaways for Ugandans.
Expansion to Tanzania:
A New Frontier With a solid foundation in Uganda and over 15 years of experience in the tourism industry, Ann set her sights on expanding Acheche’s footprint into Tanzania earlier this year.
Under the trading name Tanzania Safari Experts, the company is poised to offer unparalleled Tanzania safari experiences. This strategic expansion leverages Ann’s extensive knowledge of the region and passion for showcasing East Africa’s natural beauty.
