The Universal Safety Oversight Audit Programme Continuous Monitoring Approach (USOAP CMA) provides a mechanism for ICAO to collect and analyse safety information from Member States and other stakeholders in order to identify and prioritize appropriate oversight and monitoring activities to be carried out by ICAO.
This course prepares qualified aviation experts from States or recognized international organizations to perform USOAP CMA activities (upon selection), while providing aviation industry experts with knowledge of USOAP. It covers USOAP CMA fundamentals, including the Programme’s history, principles, objectives, auditing techniques, safety oversight system critical elements and ICAO Coordinated Validation Mission (ICVM) processes and phases.
