Africa’s aviation industry continued its fleet modernization momentum in Week 28, with airlines and operators investing in new aircraft, expanding capacity, and strengthening operational capabilities across the continent.
This week’s standout development was Diamond Aircraft‘s delivery of the first DA50 RG to Kenya-based Air_Wilderness, making the safari operator the first African Air Operator Certificate (AOC) holder to operate the premium single-engine aircraft.
Elsewhere, Burkina_Faso, Gabon, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, and Botswana recorded notable fleet developments through new acquisitions, lease agreements, military fleet enhancements, and strategic fleet expansion plans.
