AVIATION WOMEN AND YOUTH CONFERENCE SET FOR 19TH AND 20TH OCTOBER

The African Airlines Association (AFRAA) is pleased to invite you to the AFRAA Women & Youth in Aviation Conference which is scheduled to take place from 19-20 October 2021 in virtual format. The event is graciously sponsored by Collins Aerospace.
Held under the theme, “Women and youth development in aviation for a Sustainable Future”, this event will articulate on issues of promotion of women and the development of skilled aviation professionals in the aviation to meet the African global needs of the aviation industry of the future.
Objectives of the Event:
- Review the trends and enhance awareness for Gender equity and Youth Development needs of the African Aviation Industry
- Discuss the best practices, programmed and initiatives aimed at overcoming barriers of gender equality
- Establish strategies and commitment from stakeholders to enhance gender representation and development of skilled young professionals in Africa.
- Develop measures for further improvements facilitate youth development in aviation through affordable training and education for a safe and secure aviation in Africa
