AFRAA convened its 198th Executive Committee Meeting on Saturday, 11th July 2026, in Nairobi, Kenya, under the chairmanship of Capt. Dr. George I. Kamal, ag. Group CEO – Kenya Airways.
The committee deliberated on key actions and advocacy matters aimed at advancing AFRAA’s mission and championing the interests of its member airlines.
The Executive Committee is composed of the Chief Executive Officers of the following airlines:
– TUNISAIR – 1st Vice Chairperson
– RwandAir Ltd – 2nd Vice Chairperson
Ethiopian Airlines, EGYPTAIR, TAAG-Linhas Aereas de Angola (TAAG Angola), AIR TANZANIA COMPANY LIMITED, Royal Air Maroc, Congo Airways, ASKY Airlines, LAM – MOZAMBIQUE AIRLINES and Fly Gabon
The function of the Executive Committee is to supervise and control the affairs of the Association, the formulation and determination of policies within the framework of the Articles of Association, By-Laws and Regulations adopted by the General Assembly.
