Welcome to the 2026 AFRAA SkyConnect Leadership Dialogues session where industry leaders discuss critical matters and how to forge a way forward with practical and actionable solutions.
This September Edition of the AFRAA SkyConnect Leadership Dialogues will host Mr. Mike Salawou – Director, Infrastructure and Urban Development, African Development Bank and Mr. Gainmore Zanamwe – Director, Trade, Facilitation and Investment Promotion – AFREXIMBANK.
In this dialogue, we will engage discussions on how African airlines can competitively access capital to invest in more aircraft and other critical aviation infrastructure as traffic growth inches higher. The compelling case of continental integration through air connectivity, the development of trade (under AfCFTA), tourism growth and sustainable operations will all come under scrutiny as we examine how to unlock financing to drive African aviation to the next level. The guests will also propose a template(s) for developing bankable business proposals to meet the funding requirements of DFIs.
