Air Seychelles recruits more cabin crew as SCAA board gets two new members

The Minister for Home Affairs and Transport Joel Morgan announced yesterday the appointment of two new members of the Board of Directors of the Seychelles Civil Aviation Authority, in short SCAA.

New on the board is the Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, responsible for Tourism, Ms. Anne Lafortune, who is taking up the position after Sherin Naiken retired from the board following her appointment as CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board. The second new board member is Damien Thesee who represents the Ministry of Finance, Trade and Investment on the SCAA board.

Chairman of the Board remains Capt. David Savy, who is a former CEO of national airline Air Seychelles.

Meanwhile was it also learned that the recruitment drive by Air Seychelles for new cabin crew attracted over 200 Seychellois who attended the daylong session at Anse Royal’s Polytechnic Campus, vying for the 20 jobs available.
