Air Seychelles set for Johannesburg return

SEYCHELLES LIFTS TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS FROM SOUTH AFRICA

(Posted 07th January 2022)

Despite a sharp rise in domestic #Covid19 case numbers has the Seychelles’ government, according to information received from Victoria, lifted the travel restrictions against visitors from Southern Africa.

The travel ban against visitors from South Africa, Botswana, Mozambique, Lesotho, eSwatini, Namibia and Zimbabwe had been put into place at the onset of the #Covid19 Omicron variant spread and has now been removed, allowing tourists from these countries to visit the archipelago.

As a result will Air Seychelles immediately resume flights vom Mahe to Johannesburg, initially serving the route once a week with their two class Airbus A320Neo.

Visitors to the Seychelles need to observe the current Ministry of Health regulations regarding vaccinations, PCR testing and related requirements including on line registration to obtain travel clearance.
