Social media platforms well near exploded over the past few days when people expressed their ‘concerns’ over the supposedly low flypast ahead of a major sporting event.
Some of the comments seen lack any level of aviation knowledge and turned into a copy and past yap yap.
Airline has since issues a statement confirming that each of the two aircraft were piloted by three senior captains and that speed and elevation were approved by the South African Civil Aviation Authority and followed to the letter.
So dear, or rather not so dear yappers, get your facts right before you go public and end up with egg all over your often anonymous faces.
