The delivery of Air Tanzania’s first Airbus A220-300, previously known as the Bombardier CSeries 300, is now definitely coming closer to reality, after pictures emerged showing the paintwork has now been completed.
The aircraft will be delivered in an all economy cabin layout – at least that was the initial order – and will be the first such plane then registered and flying in Africa.

The tailfin’s ATCL logo, the giraffe, is also clearly visible on the picture as is the communications dome, something the airline has yet to comment on.

This and a sister aircraft, due for delivery not long after the first A220 has reached its destination, are being assembled at the Mirabel facility of Bombardier outside of Montreal.
