Hon. Hamat Bah, the Minister of Tourism and Culture of The Gambia met with Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles former Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports and Marine who is now the head of his Saint Ange Tourism Consultancy during the ITB Tourism Trade Fair in Berlin.
The Gambia’s Tourism Minister and the Seychelles former Minister have been friends for many years and their meeting in Berlin was an opportunity for St.Ange to exploreyet more tourism opportunities in West Africa after opening an intense dialogue with Tourism Ministers of the region who are looking at growing tourism on the African Continent.
After the meeting Alain St.Ange said that he was happy to have had the opportunity to catch up again with Hon. Hamat Bah, the Minister of Tourism and Culture of The Gambia and intends to follow up very soon on discussions raised.
Alain St. Angealso confirmed to ATCNews that his visit to Berlin #ITB2023 for the first face to face tourism trade fair since 2019 in that location – ITB is the world’s largest tourism trade fair and now only open for trade visitors unlike prior to the pandemic – has been an overwhelming success. He was a key note speaker and also engaged in particular with the West African tourism ministers present.
