Ambassador Dr. Alain St.Ange of Seychelles set for a working mission to Egypt

Dr. Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Ambassador At Large and the respected former
Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports and Marine has been invited to Cairo in
Egypt as ‘Guest of Honour’ for the Hospitality Awards and for honouring influential
Arab Media figures in the field of Arab Tourism with their respective Awards at the
2026 Afro-Asian Union (AFASU) International Golden Award Ceremony.

Ambassador Dr. St.Ange will depart Seychelles on the 12th of June for the two back-to-
back events set for the13 and 14 June 2026 in Cairo.

The invitation received from Egypt addressed to St.Ange said: “On behalf of the Afro-
Asian Union (AFASU) based in Cairo, Egypt, we have the distinct honour and
privilege of extending this official invitation to Your Excellency to attend and address
the prestigious AFASU Hospitality Awards ceremony schedules to take place in
Egypt on 13 and 14 June 2026. Your exceptional leadership, profound expertise, and
global recognition in the fields of hospitality and tourism have singled you out to be
the Guest of Honour at this landmark event. Your presence will provide a magnificent
opportunity to showcase the Seychelles’ tourism success story to our distinguished
attendees, as well as to the prominent Egyptian and Middle Eastern media network”.

On the 14th of June Ambassador Alain St.Ange of Seychelles will join Major General
Dr. Kaled Fouda, Advisor to the President of Republic of Egypt for Development &
Heritage and former Governor of South Sinai and Dr Hossam Darwish, President of
the Afro-Asian Union (AFASU) to honour influential Arab Media figures in the field of
Arab Tourism and present them with the awards.

Major General Dr. Kaled Fouda, the Advisor to the President of Republic of Egypt for
Development & Heritage is also the sitting Honorary President of the Afro-Asian
Union (AFASU).
