And the Travel Oscars go to …

WORLD TRAVEL AWARD NOMINATIONS FOR 2015 ARE OUT AS VOTING GATHERS PACE

(Posted 06th March 2015)

Hotels and resorts across Kenya and in fact the Eastern African region have now received their notifications from the World Travel Awards, aka the Oscars of the Travel industry, that they have been nominated and in which category they will be listed, awaiting the votes of their clientele.

One of Kenya’s ‘regulars’ on the award scene is the Leopard Resort & Spa, for umpteen years associated with the name of Chris Modigell whose vision helped turn an initially mediocre resort into a world class facility, paying back the owner’s trust in his ability to perform and delivery and making their investment prosper.

Information received while at the Kenya coast confirms that the ‘Chui’ as the resort is affectionately called among its faithful clients and friends, has been nominated in 6 categories, namely:

Africa’s Leading Family Resort: Leopard Beach Resort & Spa, Kenya
Africa’s Leading Hotel Residences : The Residences at Leopard Beach Resort & Spa
Africa’s Leading Spa Resort: Leopard Beach Resort & Spa, Kenya
Kenya’s Leading Beach Resort: Leopard Beach Resort & Spa
Kenya’s Leading Resort: Leopard Beach Resort & Spa
Kenya’s Leading Spa Resort: Leopard Beach Resort & Spa

Voting is now open online at www.worldtravelawards.com/vote where closing dates for each region can be found. Votes are cast by travel professionals and consumers with a vote cast by registered travel professionals carrying a weighting of two votes.
A full list of nominations is available online at www.worldtravelawards.com/nominees/2015.

To the Chui, and of course all the other nominated hotels, resorts, safari lodges, airlines and other service providers in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania all the best and go get those votes to do East Africa in general and Kenya in particular proud again.
