The Ugandan government has dispatched a team to Tanzania’s renowned Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The delegation is there to gain firsthand knowledge of Tanzania’s effective approaches to combating poaching and illegal wildlife trade. The visit specifically focuses on studying the Serengeti North project, which employs an integrated approach to wildlife protection. This initiative stands as a flagship program within Tanzania’s broader Anti-Poaching and Illegal Wildlife Trade (IWT) Project, which has garnered international recognition for its effectiveness.
