LET 410 CRASH FROM #JUBA TO #YIROL CLAIMS 18 LIVES IN SOUTH SUDAN

A flight from Juba to the town of Yirol ended in disaster when the aircraft crashed into Lake Yirol, killing at least 18 of a reported 21 on board. Among those who perished was an Italian doctor and the Bishop of Yirol
The Ukrainian registered LET410, owned by the Slaver Company and operated by an unknown airline called ´Baby Air´, was registered as UR-TWO, MSN 841328, first entered into service in 1984.
The aircraft last year underwent extensive maintenance after the aircraft was reportedly kept in storage for several years.
An investigation into the circumstances of the accident is expected to go underway on Monday to establish the cause of the crash, being either mechanical / technical problems or pilot error.
