ICAO invites Air Navigation experts to join its Roster of Experts, a global pool of senior aviation professionals supporting capacity development and implementation activities worldwide.
ICAO works with its 193 Member States to strengthen the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of international civil aviation. Through technical cooperation and advisory projects, ICAO engages experienced professionals to support States in meeting International Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs), particularly in the field of Air Navigation Services (ANS).

Why join the ICAO Roster of Experts
As a member of the Roster, you may be considered for assignments of varying lengths and expertise, in operational or consultancy roles to support States. The projects can be onsite, remote, or hybrid, and include specialties like:
- Air traffic management (ATM)
- Communication, navigation, and surveillance (CNS)
- Safety oversight and regulatory frameworks
- Implementation of regional air navigation plans
- Aeronautical information management (AIM)
- Capacity building and institutional strengthening
ICAO delivers projects across 193 Member States, in 6 official languages, and multiple areas of expertise.
Who should apply?
ICAO requires professional experts across multiple areas of expertise. We welcome interest from professionals with demonstrated senior-level experience from multiple domains including Air Navigation, regulatory, operational, safety, or technical specializations.
Is there a deadline for application?
There is no deadline, and applications are accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed as project needs arise.
