Auric Air gets re-certified under the BARS Gold Certification Standard

FLIGHT SAFETY FOUNDATION EXTENDS AURIC AIR’S ‘BARS GOLD STANDARD CERTIFICATION

(Posted 12th September 2019)

Auric Air of Tanzania has shared the following update with ATCNews:

We are delighted to notify you that we have completed the latest BARS audit and have received our BARS GOLD certification for the coming year, 2019-2020, kudos to our entire team for making this possible!

You can view the certificate by clicking here

Our commitment to safety and efficiency is echoed at every level of Auric Air Services Limited because, at our organization, delivery of professional service is a commitment and safety is an attitude. No compromise. Period.

Auric Air has been a BARS member since 2012, when its first audit was conducted. To achieve GOLD certification, 3 consecutive annual audits must be closed adequately within the time-frames provided. Thereafter, every audit that is closed out within the time-frame renews the GOLD certification.

The Flight Safety Foundation’s (FSF) Basic Aviation Risk Standard (BARS) program is designed to provide organizations that engage contracted aircraft operations with a standard to assist in the risk-based management of aviation activities. The Standard is suited to any organization that uses aircraft operators to provide contracted aviation support for the operation, particularly within remote and challenging environments. Adds ATCNews that the Flight Safety Foundation’s audit standards for airlines of the kind as Auric, are based on the same principles as IATA has under their IOSA certification programme. Congratulations on this accomplishment!
