Auric Air undertakes new safety audit

#TANZANIA’S #AURICAIR REMAINS THE ONLY AIRLINE OF ITS KIND TO STAY BARS CERTIFIED

(Posted 14th March 2018)

The globally renowned Flight Safety Foundation is presently carrying out the renewal audit for flight safety standards at Tanzania’s Auric Air, which remains the only such airline in that country to voluntarily undergo these independent safety audits and to have attained Gold BARS standard some time ago already. This audit equates for smaller airlines to what IATA carriers call IOSA, the IATA Operational Safety Audit.
Given the increasing importance attached to an airline’s safety standards by tour operators, travel agents and individual travelers is the move seen as cementing Auric’s safety standard and record.

Auric Air, with bases in Mwanza, Arusha and Dar es Salaam, operates scheduled services with a fleet of Cessna 208B Grand Caravans across Tanzania but also offers dedicated charter services for business and leisure groups wanting to visit remoter parts of the country and not accessible as yet by scheduled services.
