RENEWAL SAFETY AUDIT HANDS AURIC AIR ANOTHER ‘BARS GOLD‘ CERTIFICATE
(Posted 29th August 2018)
Auric Air has completed their latest BARS renewal audit and has received another BARS GOLD certification for the coming year, 2018-2019.
You can view the certificate by clicking here
Auric Air has been a BARS member since 2012, when its first audit was conducted. To achieve GOLD certification, 3 consecutive annual audits must be closed adequately within the time-frames provided. Thereafter, every audit that is closed out within the time-frame renews the GOLD certification.
BARS is the equivalent of the IOSA audit for smaller airlines which are not part of IATA’s operational safety audit programme and which has helped to tremendously improve aviation safety for IATA member airlines and other non IATA member airlines participating in these audits.
The Flight Safety Foundation’s (FSF) Basic Aviation Risk Standard (BARS) program is designed to provide organizations that engage contracted aircraft operations with a standard to assist in the risk-based management of aviation activities. The Standard is suited to any organization that uses aircraft operators to provide contracted aviation support for the operation, particularly within remote and challenging environments.
