Be A Part Of Laikipia’s Development Through CIDPs and mainly stay informed!

On Monday, August 21st, Honourable Nderitu Muriithi (Governor) and Honourable John Mwaniki (Deputy Governor) were sworn into office. Please see their MANIFESTO here.

We have the next four months to get on their agenda and to ensure that the priorities of the new government are our priorities. Think carefully about what you want for the management of our lands and natural resources – water, rangelands, land use, wildlife, livestock and our forests.

Over the next four months, we have a chance to influence the development of the County Integrated Development Plans (CIDPs). These are the instruments that County Government use to define their development priorities and their budgets.

Should you have ideas that you want to see represented in these CIDPs, related to these themes, please come by the LWF offices, or send us an email or letter about which issues need to be addressed and how.
