Beating the EU blacklist – smart moves by smart airlines

ECAIR EXHIBITS AT PARIS AT PLANET PME

ECAir, aka Equatorial Congo Airlines, which for 2014/15 holds the presidency of AFRAA, the African Airline Association and will in November host the organization’s 47th annual general assembly from 08th to 10th of November, announced their presence in Paris for one of France’s key trade shows.

ECAir flies to Paris since 2012, beating EU blacklists by using foreign registered and maintained B757 and B767 aircraft and trade and travel between what is commonly referred to as Congo Brazzaville and former colonial power France is said to be thriving, making Paris one of ECAir’s key destinations besides Dubai.

Only recently has the airline also launched flights to Beirut to cater for the large number of Lebanese investors and residents and apart from the now 12 destinations are more in the pipeline, such as Abidjan, Yaoundé, Luanda, Bangui and N’Djamena.
